Dave has been repairing clocks like this for over 30 years, and in this major overhaul which he calls the “Presidential” repair, what was once a bunch of wood & metal parts sitting in a box for years becomes a fully restored part of american heritage. In part 3, the bronze bushings are installed, broached, burnished & polished along with the rest of the brass parts, and then the parts are re-assembled so that the movement is ready for lubrication & test running.
